Statement of Faith
God:
God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Sprit. They are One, yet they each
have unique and divine attributes.
God the Father is the creator of all things great and small. He is Omniscient, Omni-powerful, and omnipresent. His love for us is why we have grace and mercy although we are unworthy. He saw fit to bring forth His only begotten Son in the form of a man so that He could redeem lost people back to Him. It is because of Him that we breathe and have our being through Christ Jesus.
Jesus is the only begotten Son of God through whom we have been redeemed. He is God and was God, in the flesh, having come to the earth in the form of a man; but was yet without sin. He died, rose again, ascended into Heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father mediating for us and awaiting the appropriate time for His definite return to bring God’s people Home.
The Holy Spirit is our comforter, teacher, and intercessor. He dwells within believers bringing conviction, instruction, regeneration, and empowerment to all believers who worship in Spirit and in Truth.
The Bible:
The Bible is God’s Holy Word and through it He reveals Himself to Man. It is the manual of life to all who believe and know that He is the only living God. It was inspired by God, written by man’s hands for the purpose of bringing Truth, Life, and light to all who believe.
Man:
Man was created by God to worship and fellowship with Him through godly and righteous living. Man, having free will, chose to disobey God and lost the right to eternal life. Death became the reward for an unworthy man, but God wanted to redeem His most loved creation back to Him. Now through the gift of salvation, man has the chance for redemption and adoption into the Kingdom of God.
Salvation:
Salvation is available to all who trust and believe. Jesus is our Savior and salvation comes only through Him. It is God’s process for redemption and we must always work out our salvation according to God’s Holy Word.
The Church:
The church is one and must function as such. We are the body of Christ and He is the Head. Our individual purposes must glorify God and bring edification to the saints thus the body will function as it should. We must take the message of Salvation to all the World and wait in eager expectation for the return of Christ.
