The palm tree’s branches sweep across the sky, as if the mere act of its swaying can erase the darkening clouds. The waves pound their abundance against the whitewashed shore, roaring its freedom. The pungent smell of fish mists the air, as hungry birds screech their animosity at the teasing aroma. Footprints lay imprinted in the pristine sand, evidence of someone’s presence.
